I am always interested in hearing about different formats for tournaments. I have a group of about 40 golfers for whom I put together tournaments. (Not all at the same time, sometimes we have only 3 or 4 teams)

We use formats such as scramble tee shot, individual play thereafter. Count best 3 net scores. We also play standard 4-man teams count best 3 net scores as well as standard scramble. I have also been considering playing a format where 1 players plays his own ball and the other 3 players play a scramble; count both scores combined as team score.

Here's a new idea: how about a 4-man team divided into two 2-man teams; each team plays a scramble and the two scores count as the score for the entire 4-man team.
